It doesn't hurt to dream!
For this month's Cutting Room we are thinking about the warmer days ahead. After the release of our camp style Cash Shirt, which was produced in a flannel wool, we wanted to reintroduce the item in a spring weight fabric. Utilizing our mills in Japan, we decided to go with two beautiful cotton wovens for these camp style silhouettes. In addition we are introducing two new color ways for the Service Chino and debuting our latest cap silhouette known as the Fisherman Cap, which is a new Knickerbocker favorite.
The Dude - Deriving its name from our favorite bowling film, the goal was to create a shirt that resembled a classic camp shirt silhouette but with a much better fit. The garments are constructed with a 4 oz. Japanese two ply cotton, Mother of Pearl buttons, and are available in an indigo plaid and natural. With a classic single piece notch collar and details such as a placket loop for top button or side vents for comfort at the waist, this shirt is a true gem.
Cash Shirt - A classic camp shirt silhouette, without the improper fit. This tailored work fit shirt features a single piece notch collar, which can be worn flat or buttoned to the top. The cash shirt is constructed with a 4 oz. Japanese two ply cotton and available now in natural and an indigo yarn dyed plaid.
Service Chino - These 1940's military inspired chinos come in a straight-leg fit and are made out of a 8 Oz. cotton twill for comfort & toughness. The Service Chino is detailed with slanted welt waist pockets, back welt waist pockets with button closure & a flap on the back right pocket, a coin pocket on the right waist, and a locker loop for hanging up. Now available in a navy & black cotton twill.
Fisherman Cap - From the sea to the city. Originally worn by many seafarers, the silhouette would later become a favorite for many icons, including the infamous John Lennon. We've always been a fan of this silhouette and are excited to finally be able to make one to call our own. The cap is constructed with a black 8 oz. cotton twill, a vegetable tanned sheepskin leather sweatband, antique brass rivets, and cotton rope cord.
