The 8-Quarter cap was once prominently associated with the impoverished as it was a hallmark of the lower class during the Great Depression. Thanks largely to American film stars such as Marlon Brando and James Dean, the 8-Quarter now maintains a diversified image, being revered as an American classic.
This silhouette has since become one of our most popular. We have made some changes to the shape for a more tailored fit, all the while giving a solid nod to its past. To celebrate one of our favorite silhouettes, we put together an editorial appropriately titled, "Home is Where You Hang Your Hat". Shot by Noah Sahady, the photographs display the versatility of the cap as well as the diversity of characters who frequently wore the cap. For work, leisure & sport; the 8-Quarter is your cap.
