Shinya Kimura has been around machinery, engines and motorcycles for most of his life. With over 25 years in the motorcycle industry, Kimura first opened in his own business in 1992, a small repair shop named Chabo. He did not wait to start ZERO motorcycles, and both business were open within a year of each other.
Kimura's bold imagination pushed him to go further and in 2006 he opened his own workshop in Azusa, California. Chabott Engineering allows Kimura to explore his interests deeper and with a wider array of materials and machinery. Despite being most well known for the building of his amazing custom motorbikes, Kimura has developed a keen eye and interest for functional art sculptures that blend his aesthetic values and work philosophy into unique designs.
