Self-taught photographer and former professional skateboarder, Fabiano Rodrigues has spent the last 5 years of his life exploring the relationship between his body and his surroundings. Despite working on various projects, his self-portraiture seems to stand out. He composes each frame attentively before placing himself within a shot, but his own movement within the frame may not be as precise, leaving plenty of room for harmony or disarray. His photographs are usually in black and white as he utilizes lights and shadows to add a geometric depth to his work. Similarly to Mark Gonzales, Rodrigues has been granted permission to skate, photograph and exhibit at various museums and architectural landmarks around Brazil and South America. He is currently displaying a collage series at the SP Art Photo Fair at the Galeria Fita Tape in São Paulo.
