The New York Times & Knickerbocker

The New York Times & Knickerbocker collaboration pulls from the rich history and culture The New York Times has documented since 1851 to bring you a range of products with story and purpose that pays homage to the workers who produced and delivered the paper.

Knickerbocker rolled back the years and went behind the scenes for an in-depth look at the factories and individuals who turned paper into information for the world to digest. Working through the night to the small hours of the morning, the printing press operators, the warehouse workers and the delivery truck drivers had literally delivered the world its news, often doing so in great style.

The collection intertwines iconic silhouettes and textiles along with many elements we found in the vast illustration and photography archives of The New York Times.
